Scott presently teaches trombone and chamber music at Yale University. He is a member of the Brass Band of Battle Creek, Four of a Kind, Proteus7, the Yale Brass Trio and the Millennium Brass. (Information about these groups and their schedules are available at their websites below.)

Scott is also active as a recitalist and guest soloist. Recent appearances include solo engagements with the Yale Band, the El Paso Symphony, the Daejeon Philharmonic (South Korea), the National Symphony of Taiwan, the El Paso Wind Symphony. The 2006/2007 season will feature solo engagements with the Naumburg Chamber Orchestra, the Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Caracas (Venezuela) and the Spartanburg Philharmonic.
